How did you two meet or how did you propose?:
We are high school sweethearts. He proposed at my parents house in the spot where we first spoke about getting married, which was about 6 months into dating. The day he proposed was the 5 year anniversary of the day was first spoke to each other.
Were you happy with the venue?:
Super happy. Aldea was so accommodating and the setting was perfect. We have nothing but praise for the Aldea staff. Our wedding was incredibly stress free and my husband and I are constantly saying how perfect it was.
Describe the theme or color scheme of your wedding, and what you chose for your table setting at the reception:
Our color scheme was black and gold. It was an elegant winter wedding kinda of theme, with lots of flowers and 'mountainy' touches. The tables had center pieces with three vases, one filled with pine cones, one with a submerged calla lily and one with a floating candle. The table cloth was black with gold plates.
What piece of advice would you give other couples planning their big day?:
Spend more time making memories than stressing about the details. Nothing matters more than you and your spouse on your wedding day.
Tell us about your photographer. Why did you choose this photographer?:
The moments like our ceremony and our first look that can not be recreated are wonderful.
