Honeymoon: We did a mini-moon to San Diego-Coronado-La Jolla and we will be going to France in June 2014 :)
1. How did you two meet or how did he propose? In May 2013, he proposed on the beach at Coronado Island in California (it was the first beach we ever saw together, we went there in September 2012). It was a quiet, sweet moment just between the two of us. We spread out the blanket, sat down and he proposed. :)
2. Were you happy with the venue? We were beyond happy with the venue! The whole set up was beautiful and Kristin Carter, the catering director, was so very wonderful to work with; all the staff was wonderful as well. The food was AMAZING!! Patty was great too, she was super helpful when we booked the venue, during the rehearsal and the night of the wedding.
3. Describe the theme or color scheme of your wedding, and what you chose for your table setting at the reception: Our color scheme was marigold and a light soft coral. We chose cherry brandy roses as the jumping off point for our colors. We chose those roses specifically because we saw them in a beautiful restaurant on the island of Capri from our April 2012 Italy trip. We had 8 tables in a diamond shape lining the dance floor, instead of numbering the tables, we named them after the 8 towns/cities we visited in Italy.
4. What piece of advice would you give other brides planning their big day? Don't forget about stocking your hotel room for the night of with water, snacks and Tylenol!! If you and the Mr. are drinking these items will help ward off a hangover...
