How did you two meet or how did he propose? Scott asked if I wanted to go for a walk on the beach while we were vacationing in Oceanside, CA. I said yes and we took a stroll along the wet sand by the water's edge at sunset. The next thing I know he got down on one knee, pulled the ring out of his pocket and he asked me to marry him. I said yes!
Were you happy with the venue? Yes, very happy! We felt we had a very nice wedding at a reasonable rate! The staff were very accommodating to our many requests. We had a lot of out of town guests, so it made it very convenient for our guests to stay there as well as having the wedding and reception on site.
Describe the theme or color scheme of your wedding, and what you chose for your table setting at the reception: The girls wore dark red tea length dresses. The men wore black tuxes with red vests and ties. The tables were alternating white and gold (the white table cloth tables had gold napkins and vise versa.) The flowers were various red and white flowers. We wanted a one of a kind wedding with unique ideas (photobooth, kissing menu, guest mad libs for wedding advice, and the wedding photos projected during the reception.)
What piece of advice would you give other brides planning
their big day? We suggest that you start planning early and use a checklist!
