Our latest cover hits newsstands today and wow, what a stunning wedding! You cannot beat the views at this local resort in the heart of Scottsdale Arizona. Weddings in Scottsdale have recently become hot conversation in the destination wedding scene. Scottsdale was voted one of the top destinations in America to host your out of town wedding!
If you’re looking for a dream venue for your day look no further – Sanctuary Camelback Mountain has several indoor and outdoor sites on location perfect to complete your ideal wedding day vibe.
“Pure bliss” are the two words that very well may come to mind the first time you visit Sanctuary Camelback Mountain. Tucked away on 53 acres of lush desert and nestled on the northern slope of its legendary namesake mountain, this luxury resort offers everything you could possibly need to make your wedding day what you’ve always dreamed it could be.
This Scottsdale resort can comfortably accommodate wedding groups ranging in size from 75 to 200 and offers a choice of romantic indoor and outdoor venues. Paradise Views is a two-level outdoor space that overlooks Paradise Valley and the mountains. The Wedding Lawn and the Sunset Garden offer two beautiful options for the ceremony, cocktail reception or photos. And as for the Views Terrace, the name says it all. This outdoor space offers dramatic panoramic views of the resort grounds and the surrounding mountains. It’s adjacent to The Views Ballroom which provides the perfect spot for guests to dine and dance the night away to celebrate your vows. Praying Monk is an indoor/outdoor venue that overlooks the iconic rock formation it’s named for and is ideal for intimate weddings or for a rehearsal dinner. To get to the venue, guests walk along a lavish wine corridor that contains nearly 1,000 bottles. Talk about making an entrance!
For accommodations, wedding guests can relax in style in their choice of a spacious mountainside casita or a one- or two-bedroom suite. For the wedding party or larger families, one of the resort’s luxurious villas just might fit the bill. Guests can also visit the resort’s modern fitness center that offers complimentary classes or indulge in a game of tennis or pickleball on one of the courts located on site. They can also take a refreshing dip in one of the resort’s three pools, including an infinity edge pool that’s exclusively reserved for adults on weekends.
For some welcome relaxation and rejuvenation before the big event, the wedding party (or guests, for that matter) can choose from a full array of hair and makeup services in the Sanctuary Salon or indulge in their favorite treatments at the resort’s Asian-inspired spa. There’s nothing quite like having a Signature Coconut Sumatra Body Ritual to put your mind—and body—at ease. The spa offers twelve indoor and outdoor treatment rooms, a tranquil Zen garden and a soothing reflecting pond. As we mentioned before, it’s pure bliss with weddings in Scottsdale!
