PRETTY & POSH. Our new cover and latest issue hits newsstands this week, and is the perfect mix of bridal luxury with a pop of classic contemporary style! The Phoenician is home to the second largest cactus garden in the state, and that made the perfect backdrop for our stunning cover! Set amidst the desert in bloom our couple pops in this serene setting! The lighting at that hour was swoon worthy, Jennifer of LIV Photography captured it all perfectly! We would like to thank the fabulous ladies of Bradys Floral and Stephanie of Stephanie Antoinette Weddings & Events for designing a beautiful ceremony set on The Phoenician’s newest location nestled against the gorgeous backdrop of Camelback Mountain. With stunning 360 degree views, who wouldn’t want to tie the knot there! Read on below for a longer look at the stunning set and inspo for the design!
When Stephanie Antoinette, owner of Stephanie Antoinette Weddings and Events, designed this photo shoot at The Phoenician, she wanted to honor this iconic resort’s classic sophistication while adding a fresh, fun vibe perfect for a spring or summer wedding.
A DELICIOUS DESIGN We think Stephanie’s choice of a sorbet-inspired color palette is absolutely delicious. She’s an expert at knowing exactly where to add touches of her bright palette to create an extraordinarily elegant effect. Just look at the fun bar concept she created with bright, festive champagne cocktails in shades of pink, tangerine and yellow. There’s no doubt these lucky guests loved to see their escort cards attached to a tasty cocktail!
ALL SET TO STUN Stephanie really wanted her tablescape to stand out against the resort’s brand new lush green ceremony lawn with its incredible mountain views. So she chose gorgeous textured white linens from La Tavola and added pops of pink with colorful prints. Her collaboration with Lorraine Cooper of Brady’s Floral resulted in amazing floral designs bursting with color. Golden dinnerware, flatware and candlesticks brought just the right amount of glimmer to the table.
PAPER PERFECTION The invitations by Victoria York of Victoria York Design are fun, fresh and classy with their wonderful watercolor design. Victoria really knocked it out of the park!
CEREMONIAL SUCCESS Lorraine carried out her floral vision for the ceremony site in a breathtaking way. The fun colors she and Stephanie chose really enhanced the design. Lorraine’s florals even cascaded down the two-tiered pink and yellow ombre wedding cake by Piece of Cake Desserts.
TRULY TIMELESS Stephanie chose two different gowns to create a look for our bride that was both timeless and fun. Check out her stunning five-carat oval yellow diamond ring and one-of-a-kind tiara by Gauthier Jewelry. What a lucky bride! And look at our adorable flower girls in their blossom pink dresses. Stephanie just couldn’t resist giving our groom a matching pink tie to set off his tailored grey suit.
Stephanie pulled off the perfect balancing act to create a design that’s fresh and fun yet elegant, all at the same time.
