1. How did you two meet or how did you propose?: Conner and I are high school sweethearts! Our families have been friends for years and we all met through church. Conner proposed with a romantic boat ride at sunset, total Notebook style, and surprising me with our family and friends all watching and taking surprise video and photos for us from afar! It was so perfect and romantic!
How did you find your venue? Were you happy with it?: We found Shenandoah Mill online, and we immediately loved the charm and beauty of the building. We were SO pleased with the venue for our big day because it perfectly fit the theme that we were going for.

2. Describe the theme or color scheme of your wedding, and what you chose for your table setting at the reception: Our colors were peach, gold, ivory, and a light turquoise. Our theme was what my mother liked to call “vintage country chic” J each table had different settings, but they all included some combination of a flower arrangement with mason jars, some small birdcages, etc.

3. What piece of advice would you give other couples planning their big day?: Enjoy every minute of it! You spend so much time and effort planning this one day and it will FLY BY! Savor every moment, and take lots of pictures! And don’t let the small stuff stress you out, this is a beautiful day and the only thing that you should be focusing on is marry the person you love!
