Connie & Michael met on a dating website! For their first date, they went hiking on South Mountain. The proposal was on a beach in Coronado Island, San Diego!
The couple was very happy with their choice in venue, The Paseo. The team was amazing, thorough, excellent in communication, and did a great job coordinating the event, making sure that everything ran smoothly on their big day. The theme of the wedding was Rustic Glam with forest greenery. The color scheme was gold, forest green, white, and navy. Table settings included gold flatware, gold chargers, gold decorative elements, and lots of greenery.
Connie's piece of advice to other brides: Start planning and booking early, a year in advance, to get the vendors you want and have less stress later on. Create a seating chart by drawing out your table set up and use sticky notes that are color coordinated by guest type (bride's friends, groom's friends, bride's family, groom's family, coworkers, etc.) and include guests' names so you can easily move guests around if things change!
