1. How did you two meet or what was the proposal like?: Klay and I met on Tinder and the proposal was an amazing surprise! We were on vacation in Maui. After a morning walk on the beach, we relaxed near a cove and Klay got on one knee and proposed. It was the best day in the most gorgeous place!
2. Were you happy with the venue?: Choosing Hotel Valley Ho as our wedding venue was the best decision! It is such a beautiful and fun spot right in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. We had a blast with family throughout the weekend staying at the hotel. The hotel has a fun and charming vintage vibe and the grounds are stunning. Allison Chapin and her team were the best to work with and truly went above and beyond to make our day magical!
3. Describe the theme or color scheme of your wedding, and what you chose for your table setting at the reception: We love Arizona's scenery so we went with a boho, desert theme. Our colors were terracotta/burnt orange, charcoal blue, burgundy, and neutral shades. Half the table settings were a mix of eucalyptus/floating candle trios and the other half had a vintage gold footed glass bowl overflowing with eucalyptus, pampas grass and beautiful blooms with our wedding colors.
4. What piece of advice would you give other couples planning their big day? Wedding planning and the actual wedding day go by so fast, so truly take it in and cherish every moment! Try to have mostly everything done by the week of so you can really enjoy it all - getting ready with your bridal party, spending time with all your loved ones together, those special moments with your husband/wife. Also, it's your day so make sure to do what you want! All the different opinions can be overwhelming, so try to do what makes you happy/comfortable and what means the most to you both.
