1. How did you two meet or what was the proposal like?: We first met in 1978 while attending Junior High at the Oil Companies School in Tripoli, Libya. Our parents worked together and became close friends. Our families enjoyed going to the beach and sailing together in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. In 1980, we lost contact after Steve graduated from Junior High. Little did we know that we would reconnect 35 years later on Facebook. After attending a couple of O.C.S. school reunions, we decided to spend the rest of our lives together. Mary moved from Texas to Arizona to be with Steve in 2019 and here we are together. I proposed to Mary Jane on 9/7/19 at J & G Steakhouse in the Phoenician Resort.
2. Were you happy with the venue?: YES. Just incredible and so worth it.
3. What piece of advice would you give other couples planning their big day? Be patient and try not to stress out. Have fun and enjoy every moment of the planning process as well as the special day because before you know it, it'll be over in a flash. Get a great Wedding Team behind you and do your own research. Enjoy.
