Melissa and Tom met on a blind date at San Tan Brewery on July 21st of 2010. They got married on the same day, eight years later! Tom proposed to Melissa on a weekend getaway to San Diego in November of 2016.
The couple got married at Crowne Plaza San Marcos in Downtown Chandler. They were very happy with the venue their wedding coordinator, Annie Artenian. Downtown Chandler was the perfect spot for their wedding, since it is where their story began. The color scheme of the wedding was navy blue with a touch of blush pink. Melissa wanted to have a vintage and romantic theme to compliment the historic venue. Table centerpieces included two vases with floating candles and a small floral arrangement.
Melissa's advice to other brides: "Stay calm! We spend so much time, and money, planning this day and it goes so fast. Things can go wrong and that's ok! My veil popped out when I hugged my dad, I had no idea and that is okay! What was important was that we were surrounded by all our favorite people and felt so loved. It really was the best day ever."
