1. How did you two meet or what was the proposal like?: Adam and I actually met our freshman year in high school when we were 14 years old. We were always good friends and it wasn’t until our early 20's that our friendship grew into so much more. Adam proposed to me in Leipers Fork, TN. He got down on one knee while it was raining outside and it was completely magical.
2. Were you happy with the venue?: We absolutely loved The Paseo Venue, it was perfect for our wedding and had everything we were looking for. We loved that we were able to get married outside in front of a beautiful mountain and have our cocktail hour outside as well. We moved inside for our reception but had huge windows and doors open to see the beautiful starry night. We loved that our venue offered a variety of accommodations that allowed us to really tailor the wedding and make it our own. They allowed us to bring in a photo bus and the biggest hit of the night was our late night snacks from "The Weinder Wagon"! Everyone loves a hot dog after dancing and drinking all night.
3. Describe the theme or color scheme of your wedding, and what you chose for your table setting at the reception: We wanted to go with a very simple and romantic theme for our wedding. The venue itself is so beautiful and has such amazing views we did not want to take away from it. We had some photos sprinkled around the venue with very romantic and dramatic flowers. On our tables we continued the theme with beautiful floral centerpieces.
4. What piece of advice would you give other couples planning their big day?: Honestly, find the best wedding coordinator that you really click with, who will listen to you and makes sure your days goes just as planned. Like most brides, I spent a year planning my wedding and have been dreaming about my wedding day my entire life. However, I also wanted to enjoy my wedding day and not be stressed or worried about something not being set up right, or a vendor not showing up or something happening that I would need to fix. I didn’t have to worry about anything the day of my wedding. Jeanette took care of everything. We sat down together before my wedding and I went over all my plans with her, I told her all my dreams and how I wanted each table set up and even where the heaters inside needed to be. She made sure everything was perfect. As far I knew, on the day of my wedding we didn’t have one issue and the day ran perfectly smooth. Our amazing wedding coordinator made that happen - she took on the responsibility of being the main contact for all my vendors, she communicated with everyone the day of and fixed any issues before I even knew they occurred. My wedding was my dream wedding because of all the planning and hard work that went into it and mostly because Jeannette made sure that all my dreams came true.
